Mekong Delta: Vietnam’s biggest agricultural region, the country’s rice basket with colorful floating markets, fruit orchards, rice paddies, bird sanctuaries and quaint villages

DAY 1: HA NOI ARRIVAL

Welcome you to VietNam, your trip will start today from HaNoi City
Our car & tour guide will pick you up at Noi Bai airport ( in Ha Noi) and transfer to hotel.

The rest of the day is at leisure.
Welcome buffet dinner will be served at restaurant

DAY 2: HA NOI CITY TOUR

In the morning.
Our tour guide will pick you up at the lobby
Our tour will start by visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his Stilt House, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby.
About HoChiMinh Complex:
1. Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum.
The Mausoleum, which was made of marble and granite, features a three-stored structure. In the second store places the famous President’s body, lying as if he were sleeping in the simple clothes worn when he was alive.
Notes:
Opening time: 5 days per week only in the morning, except Monday and Friday morning.
Winter seasons (from November to March) 8:00 a.m – 11:00 a.m
Summer seasons (from April to October): 7:30 a.m – 10:30 a.m
Closed in October/ November/ or December every year for the body maintenance
No camera, cell phone, bare-shoulder T-shirts, knife , or mini skirts are allowed inside
2.Ba Dinh square
This is where Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum lies, is a historical site where President Ho Chi Minh read the Independence Declaration of Vietnam on September 2nd, 1945.
3. Ho Chi Minh’s Residence
Refusing to live in the Presidential palace, President Ho Chi Minh lived in a normal electrician’s house nearby. The house has two floors and the beloved President lived here from 1958 until he passed away.

4. One Pillar Pagoda
An ancient pagoda built in 1049 under the Ly Dynasty. There’s an interesting legend referring the construction of the pagoda, telling that King Ly Thanh Tong had this pagoda constructed in the shape of a lotus, based upon his fairy dream, thanks to which he was given a baby boy.
Remember to wear full-length clothes when you visit any pagoda
We continue going to the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture and ethnic groups of Vietnam.
Have lunch at local restaurant

Head back to your hotel, you will enjoy a 1-hour rickshaw tour to explore the fascinating Old Quarter and its hundreds of speciality shops selling silk clothing, lacquerware, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, cooking utensils, ceremonial objects and more, finish city tour today by a Water Puppet Show.

DAY 3: HA NOI - HA LONG BAY

In the morning. Have breakfast at hotel
Around 8 am: The driver will pick you up at the lobby to start the trip today.
About Ha Long Bay: It is listed by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage site and voted as a Wonder of Nature by the New 7 Wonders Foundation.
You will have a wonderful night by staying on cruise in this world famous bay.
We leave the bustle and hustle of city behind , it take you 3hr 30mins drive to Halong Bay. We stop at half way in Hai Duong province for break time about a half hour
Keep going to Ha Long bay.
Arrive Halong pier around 12 am, the captain and crew on boat will pick you up , we board on boat later

After a welcome onboard, lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay.
In the afternoon, enjoy some sightseeing, on-board activities like caving, swimming, kayaking…. (depending on each boat’s itinerary)
Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board.

DAY 4: HA LONG - HUE OVERNIGHT TRAIN

Good morning Ha Long Bay – World heritage site of nature
Wake up early in the morning enjoyfresh air of the bay, if you are lucky today you can see sunrise

We start an amazing trip today by practice Tai Chi on the sun deck.
Continue sightseeing in the wonderful bay, check out your cabin and enjoy brunch on board while cruising back to mainland.
Enjoy morning view of the bay’s landscapes. From the upper deck of the boat, the beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear waters of the bay is breathtaking. Around 11am. Arriving at the harbor, Our tour guide will pick you up and head back to Ha Noi
Leave your luggages at hotel, we start a street food tour this afternoon before we take an overnight train to Hue city tonight
( street food is great opportunity for your family to try best food in Viet Nam and food culture )
At 07.00 We go to train station for overnight train to Hue

DAY 5: HUE CITY TOUR

Upon arrival Hue around 08.30 in the morning the next day, our guide will pick you up at train station
We have breakfast at local restaurant, leave your at hotel and start a daily trip today

The first, we visit Royal Citadel, which was constructed by Emperor Gia Long in the style of French military architect Vauban during the first decades of the 19th century
Head back hotel for checking – in
In the afternoon, we take a dragon boat trip along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Minh Mang tomb, visit Dong Ba market

Tonight we have a cosy dinner at local restaurant with royal imperial style

DAY 6: HUE MOTORBIKE TOUR - HAI VAN PASS - HOI AN

After breakfast at the hotel, We join mortobike tour which organise by local people
We will see the beauty of countrysite in Hue with rice field, conical hat and incense handcraft villages and have a look deeper into daily living of local people.
Then we head back to hotel to take your belongings.
Our drive will take you to the ancient town of Hoi An over the Hai Van Pass ( Hai Van pass is a place located betwee Hue and Da Nang city, from the pass you can see over of Da Nang city and the view of ocean) to Da Nang, stopping at Lang Co Beach.
Keep heading to Hoi An town
Arived Hoi An, we have lunch in Hoian.

In the afternoon, we take a walk to Hoi An ancient town. We will start the walk from small alley from Phan Chu Trinh Street to Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street. This is the typical ancient street of Hoi An, that can show you great atmosphere of the ancient town. Visit the Japanese Cover Bridge – the symbol of Hoi An.
After that, we visit Tan Ky, the most well known and authentic ancient house in town. Then take a walk along the Nguyen Thai Hoc – the ancient street of Hoi An to the market of the town.
Visit the local market of Hoi An and Phuc Kien Congressional Assembly Hall, the communal place for Chinese community from Fukien province in China as well the worshiping temple to Thien Hau, the Goddess protecting people on the sea – that was so important for the Chinese Merchant and Fishman in the past. Then you have free time for discovering the town on your own or shopping.
Visit Thang Loi Handicraft workshop in Phan Chu Trinh Street where we have the chance to experience all the typical traditional handicraft of Hoi An: wood carving, mat weaving, lantern making, silk worm raising, spinning and weaving, table cloth making and embroidery picture.
Evening free to have dinner and explore the town

DAY 7: HOI AN - FLY TO SAIGON

Have breakfast at hotel , free at leisure until out driver come to pick you up for a flight to Ho Chi Minh city
At 11.00 am : We leave Hoi An for Da Nang airport.

You have free time this afternoon , our guide will show you some interesting to explore this afternoon

DAY 8: SAI GON CITY TOUR

This morning, you will start a full daily tour

The first we visit Reunification Palace where the Vietnam America war ended in 1975. Today the grand building is a museum and hall for official receptions.
Near the Palace are the colonial style Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral- it was built between 1877 and 1883, these two palces known as the symbol of Ho Chi Minh.
Have lunch before we head to Cu Chi tunnels

After lunch, we go to the Cu Chi Tunnels. This tunnels consist of more than 200 kilometres of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground shelters, and entrances to other tunnels. The network includes innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what was underground life like during the War.
Get back to Ho Chi Minh city for overnight

DAY 9: MEKONG DAILY TOUR

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel, our guide will pick you up at hotel for a daily tour today
This morning we drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for its floating market.

We will board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to Vinh Long.
We will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of ‘Elephant ear fish’, before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the MeKong Delta.

We head back to Ho Chi Minh for overnight

DAY 10: SAI GON DEPARTURE

Vietnam is a country located in the tropical zone and country is long from north to south, with the top North region has 4 seasons, warm all time in the south with 2 seasons that rain and dry. Therefore, its climate is not consistent throughout the country. In fact, the weather varies significantly by latitude and longitude.
From July to September, the climate is usually humid and hot.
From October to June brings cooler and more pleasant weather.

In case of bad weather (the boat is not allowed to push off or not allowed to overnight in the sea), please choose one of the below options:
1-Staying at the hotel (first night in Halong bay – 4* standard) – Tour cost is not changed. (hotel expense will be covered by the organizing company).
2-Back to Hanoi on the first day – Tour cost is charged as one of Halong bay one day trip.
